Trying to actually purchase this theme to support you guys and since I used the Redtime theme for a good while, but I really like the features of this new theme, but I’m having issues buying. I don’t see a checkout button. I’m using IE8 and Firefox 3.5, I only see the go back button & update cart button, no checkout, any help? THANKS!

Hey John, quick question, how do you insert an image to go along with the featured post, i’ve tried to put an image into my post but in the feature carousel it does not show up, any ideas?
Make a custom field called “thumbnail” and paste the url to image in its value box

I’ve just purchased this theme – it’s perfect for my needs – and I have to say what a crazy checkout process. I click an e-junkie link and get redirected to 2CO. I pay by PayPal and I end up on a 2CO page that says…
“Your order was successfully submitted.
Your order is pending, your card has not yet been charged.
We will process your order within 24 hours, once it has
passed a series of fraud checks.”
Yes, I HAVE been charged, I just checked my PayPal account, but do I now have to wait 24 hours for non-existent security checks on a card I haven’t used?
As a side note, the product is for sale in USD and my PayPal account is awash in dollars. But 2CO converted it to GBP at their conversion rate (I live in the UK), then charged my business PayPal account in GBP (which I don’t have in that account), which then had to be converted from USD to GBP at PayPal’s conversion rate.
So they both took a cut of the money that should have gone directly into your pocket. Then I guess e-junkie will take their cut too.
This is a mess and you really need to fix it.
If you have a PayPal account, I’ll happily GIVE you a free full version copy of SmartDD which will handle the sales and delivery process for you. The built in SmartDD affiliate scheme will also handle commissions and affiliates for you automatically and instantly.
Hmm… Maybe you don’t have a PayPal account which is why you’re using e-junkie. I can’t think of any other reason to use them when there are better alternatives.

I’m getting this error when creating the gallery.
Fatal error: Class ‘nggGallery’ not found in /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/themes/TweetSheep1/includes/fn-general.php on line 276
I created the gallery, named it, added just 3 pics to test the gallery, and saved it, selected it from the drop down in the theme options, but I get that error on my main page.
This is line 276 in that fn-general.php file:
$ngg_options = nggGallery::get_option(‘ngg_options’);
Any thoughts?

My category names are not showing up on the front page, any help? I’ve got 5-6 categories set up for posts, let’s say category named reviews for my game reviews, and I’ll create a post, link it to that category but I only see the post in my featured posts and recent posts on the main page, i don’t see my categories separated by the blue lines on the main page.

look for $cats_ids = array(3,9,10); it will be line # 25
enter the category ID’s one after another in the order you want them to show up in place of 3,9,10

Got another quick set of question, how can I change the colour of the “SUPERBLOG” (my blog title) & how can I actually include all those images on the front page, in my posts, not the gallery, got that to work just fine, I mean the recent posts or the posts in the categories. I have images in those posts and they show up in the carousel and also show up in the post when I click on them but I dont see them on the main page. Cheers!
You need to create custom fields :
1. image_300_100 for the image in category section
2. image_100_100 for the image in recent posts
3. thumbnail – for carousel

1 more John, how can I shift my recent posts, to go under the picture gallery like in the demo, my 10 most recent posts are all just getting added 1 after the other, so it’s a little cluttered, can I shift 1 or 2 under the pic gallery on the main page?

Did you enter your feedburner id? its not the login ID you use to login. you will see it in the email subscription code you get from feedburner

Hi. I don’t know if you can help me, but I love this theme but I could not get it to work. I don’t know where to put the code to make the “Favorite Posts” show up. I literally spent hours trying to figure it out. I ticked the box below my post in my admin section, but it would not work, and I have NO idea where to insert show_featured_posts. enter the category ID’s seperated by coma’s and in the order you would like them to appear in line # 25 of functions.php
create a custom field “image_300_100″ and enter the url to 300×100 image as its value in the latest post of that category.

I had tried deactivated->re-activate, then uninstall and re-install the plugin, then upgrade the plugin to version 3.0, all not working. You cannot add mailpress plugin to the subscribe box, its for feedburner
if mailpress doesn’t have widgets for sidebar, then you can’t drop it into sidebar either
the mailpress plugin works well with my previous themes, now I have 200+ subscribers list and every new post I add is being sent to these people, but I can’t grow my list from here now. I saw from your demo site there is a text box under the subscribe title, that is for feedburner ?

My problem is that the feedburner icon doesn’t show up. I am registered with them but nothing shows. I have it checked and the proper link entered.
Any idea where the problem might lie.

1. I cannot get that feedburner link to to work!?!
2. I don’t see anywhere that I can decide what categories will be highlighted. Similar to your your Design, Design 5, Design 6 in the demo.

So, I still cannot get the feedburner link to work, finally had to just take it off. Not good.
Tried to change the array numbers in the function.php file and now nothing working in that.
This is terrible, instructions need to be a little more precise. I for one have never used php and fooled with that editor. You say put in your category ID. Nothing anywhere is there a category ID. I have a category name, description and slug. That is it, nowhere do I see an ID.
You really should take a couple of hours one evening and write an instructions doc. Your install.txt is completely useless as it tells you nothing. I have no idea what this

Sorry for the rant! Was getting very frustrated. I got the Custom fields and category ID figured out.
For those that don’t know, and I am sure there are lots. You have to go to your category tab and then hover your mouse over the category. Look at the link that comes up in the bottom right of your web browser and you will see ID=xx (your ID number). Note: the numbers follow no self-evident logic, it seems very random. Thus, typing in 1, 2, 3 for your categories thinking that will be the 1st, 2nd and 3rd category in your list will not work.
Still no luck with the feedburner. Going to start a brand new feedburner account and see if that works.
Ok, I got the feedburner working. Again for those who will not know you have to do the following:
Under Tweetsheep General Settings you enter only the last part of your feedburnerID. I.E. your Feedburner ID my look something like this http://feeds2.feedburner.com/~fc/Webdesignlesson.
You would only enter the “Webdesignlesson” in the general setting tab where is says feedburner ID.
I was entering the enter string, which was causing the problem.
So, everything works. I took up a lot of space. Feel free to delete some of the early posts. But I think the last two would prove to be helpful to others.

The logo is all caps and my logo requires a manipulation of that. Instead of MUSICTAP, it shoudl be MusicTAP. Also, a byline reads …essential. That doesn’t show up. How can I get this into the logo area?

But I realise now that i got lots of post and it only is showing the recent ones and it does not show a navigation page number and the bottom of the page. I mean the number you see at the bottom of the blogs to see the page actual and the old entries. How can I add that?

You need to activate the featureme plugin and then mark the posts as featured in the edit post

I’ve been using the free version of TS at homeschoolent.com for awhile, and REALLY like it, but couldn’t fix the broken featured posts area…and – well, I bought the mag version today, and working out all the kinks on the site listed (homeschooling-entrepreneurs.com).
Q#1: Can I just put ONE static pic in the ‘Featured Posts’ area without trying to learn NexGen Gallery? (said I had to use for FP)? Can I use the Featured Content Gallery I used in the free version? It messed up and I couldn’t fix iton homeschoolent.com-yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled, etc. Tried everything.
Q#2: WHERE do I put my logo image? Tried several places in header.php- what to do?

Hi, if you download the featured posts plugin from http://www.webdesignlessons.com/featureme.zip you won’t have any problems.

What’s the trick to getting posts to show on the home page where is says “Category Name” in the demo screenshot above? I get three horizontal rules and no posts in that area.

I thought FeatureMe didn’t support thumbnails. I can’t seem to find a setting for it. Is FeatureMe in use in TweetSheep Magazine? I noticed that there are thumbnails in the featured posts section.

John, I am using the TweetSheep theme and it is great. But it is using wordpress 2.8.4 and wants me to upgrade to 2.8.6

Very nice theme! Just a few questions:
1) Is it possible to add some more banners ads with diferent sizes from 4×125 on the right side of the page and customize their appearence order, for example ads,popular posts,ads,poll?
2) Is it possible to change the video by a photo or banner?
3) Is it possible to insert photo or banner in footer?
4) How many in maximum “last posts” will appear in each category?
5) Can we insert photos inside the mainpages at the horizontal menu at top?
6) Can we add any function from wordpress where we can insert html code from other sites (pe. amazon) to enable a new widget?

I’m really frustrated with some of the plugins and it seems like I’m the only one having this problem.
I really need your help.
This stupid Internal Server error is keep popping up upon trying to activate certain plugins (I’m using WP 2.8.5 by the way, I don’t know if that counts). Anyway, so far I was going crazy with the Poll first, none of the polls would work with my blog. Than I finally found one, it’s called MicroPoll, that’s the only one that’s not screwing with me.
But NOW I have the same SH@# with the Image Gallery.
First I uploaded all the plugins as they came in the zip package after purchase. Well, that didn’t work, as some of the plugins are placed into an extra folder, so WP is not recognizing the plugin until you take it out of the folder. I thought, ok, well let’s just upload the inner folder… ok, now it shows within the plugins, so far so good. Well, not exactly… when I activate the plugin, this is what happens:
“Error 500 – Internal server error
An internal server error has occured!
Please try again later.”
Than I try to click on my dashboard, and this comes up:
“Warning: curl_init(): Cannot initialize a new cURL handle in /homepages/–MYSERVERINFO–/htdocs/2flyrc/wp-includes/http.php on line 1239″
and the warning goes on and on and on….
When I first saw it, I almost got a heart attack, because I thought I screwed up something, but after deleting the stupid plugin, everything went back to normal, so it wasn’t me.
And the same thing happened with all the poll plugins and now I’m stuck without an Image Gallery management plugin.
I know it’s not your fault, that it doesn’t work, but I REALLY REALLY NEED HELP.

Is there a way to increase the number of lines shown for each post on the front page? We want something that is a cross b/t a blog and mag site and it would be helpful to show several paragraphs. Also, can we widen the post content section on the main page to to use the entire body width?

When I create an ordered list and put some links into one entry of such a list, it looks like normal text, where did you define the behavior of the links in ordered lists? I want that it has the same behaviour as in normal text.
