So you want to drive followers like sheep to your Twitter Page? This theme has been designed from the ground up to fully leverage the power of social network marketing.
The design comes in Aqua-Marine Blue’s as well as white and subtle use of gray.
This is a two column magazine style layout for wordpress. Quite unique with a dynamic main banner that includes your latest 4 featured posts.

How do i show posts in featured section?
Use FeatureMe plugin to mark the posts as featured and the latest 5 will show up in the featured section.
How do i show adsense?
Simply enter your Adsense ID in the theme options page

Hi, I love this theme! The blue and white combo just blew me away. So did the fonts.
I have a request though. Is there anyway I could replace the twitter bird with the RSS man and vice versa? Also please do a tutorial on how to add a ‘Call to action’ box using this theme which include a subscribe via email box, as well as twitter, stumbleupon and delicious icons.

You will have to create a custom field “thumbnail” in write/edit posts and paste the full url to a 161×107 px image

This theme is not working. It will not show up in theme preview and is completely blank upon activation. Not sure if this is related to the comment above about the error. Some info that might help:
running on wordpress version 2.8 with Windows XP.
Also I was able to get TweetMeBlue 1.1 to work, but something to think about is that I was only able to get the version 1.1 to work that was downloaded from wordpress.org…. i was not able to get TweetMeBlue to work that I downloaded from your site… and it had the same types of symptoms that I am having with the TweetSheep problem.

I still was not able to get it to work on my localhost (using apache 2.2.6) but I did upload it to my online hosting account and it is working. So Im not sure what the difference is, but it is working online for me.
So I started doing some edits and was wondering how to change the Feature Me Tabs that are blue below the feature box. I have changed all the images in the image folder that had blue, but this is still coming up blue.. Please let me know if you know the way to change this color. you can see it at my site currently.

When writing a post how do you mark the location where you want the post to cut off? in terms of showing on the index page and the reader needs to click Read Full post to read the rest.

Lovin this theme, but I can’t figure out how to add posts to the featured section. I installed the featureme.php file to the plugins folder and see the option in the edit section of the posts, but when i click the button to update it doesn’t work. When I go back to see if the box is checked its not. Am I missing something?

Actually I did download it from above and just extracted it to the plugins directory. It shows up in the post edit section but doesnt work!

I’m having the same problem as Dan. I downloaded FeatureMe from your page, installed to plugins, see it in my plugins as active, see the checkbox, but it unchecks when I update post, and doesn’t show up in the Featured Posts.
update: I had originally loaded the .php file directly to the plugins folder, and it didn’t work. I deleted and loaded the folder “featureme” with the .php file in it to the plugin folder, and it works now.
Running 2.8. Downloaded both the theme and featureme from this page. Not seeing anything where I can designate a post as a feature. Not seeing anything where I can do settings with featureme. Added pictures and confirmed links at 161x107px. Added a category featured just in case. Nothing appears. Maybe something simple. Losing interest… Really like this and I’m one of those few that will donate for your work, fyi.
Just tested it again, both works fine on cpanel/wp 2.8/php 5
I ‘ve this problem too. Wp 2.8 and the faturedme checkbox doesn’t appears.

Fresh install of WordPress 2.8 on PHP 5.2.9. No admin settings show up for your theme in the admin section. Any ideas what’s going on?

I got the featureme plugin to work but when I click on the little numbers at the bottom, there is an error popped up: There’s an error with your setup of Carousel Viewer “board_carusel”!
Other than this, everything is working fine but I really like to have the feature post section working… very cool

One has a picture (and I can manipulate that one) and the other one does not (and I cannot make any changes including deletion of that post) from the Feature Me section.

I am working with this theme in sandbox and cannot get the FeatureMe to work. I have v0.9 installed, check it at the bottom. Have the template installed from here but still nothing.
I love this template but will not implement if I can’t get the FeatureMe working.

I got the FeatureMe from this page. Do I need to upload the featureme.php zipped or the folder with featureme.php zipped.
You need to upload the featureme.php file only not the zip file
if it still doesn’t work, upload a folder “Featureme” with the featureme.php in that folder
I have done both. It still does not work.
Ok…I got it working. Had to use small -f “featureme” folder name, not “Featureme”. Now I’ll see if I can get a pic working with it.

I do have a question though. I’ve set up my blog to have a static home page and I want to add another page titled ‘blog’ and be able to add posts to that page.
I haven’t been able to figure out how to do it. I can add another page but I don’t seem to be able to add more than one post to that page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Simply create a category called “Blog” but then it will be domain.com/category/blog/
I don’t see how that will give me a page on my menu bar at the top.
Maybe I’m missing something, but I would like an actual page to show up in the menu bar that says ‘blog’ and then be able to add several posts to it.

Great theme! A couple of questions for you..
One thing I noticed in your screen shot at the top of this page is the block of small banner ads. Is this a widget or custom code? I’d like to ad something similar, but other than dropping some code into a “text” block widget, I don’t know how to do it.
Also, is there a way to “not” include the featured post section on sub pages? I love it on the main page, but would like to have something else on single post pages and other subpages. Not sure if there’s a way to specify “don’t show” on certain pages. Any help is appreciated.

for the ads, you have 125×125 options under “tweetsheep” options in wp-admin
for the featured posts, yes it can be done but needs a little technical knowledge

Hrm…when I go to the tweetsheep admin area, I have 2 sections (General Settings and Page Settings), neither of which have a 125×125 option. In the General Settings, all there is is a box for my Twitter ID. In Page Settings there’s only Menu Settings (with this one sentence: ” When you uncheck Parent Page and if you don’t want to show Sub Pages, you need to uncheck All Sub Pages too.”). So each settings area has just option. Is something not loading properly for me?
That’s good news about the featured posts, because that’s exactly what I have – “a little technical knowledge”! I’m game to give it a shot if you’re willing to share the info with me.

Sorry just realised we can’t get rid of the featured posts in inside pages as its in the blue header….
if i overwrite the version i have installed currently, will i lose any/all changes i’ve made to the theme? it won’t let me just upload the new one, saying it already exists, so I’m not sure if there’s some procedure I need to follow.
I would like to keep the blue header, just put something different inside it. Can that be done or do I just need to keep the header and featured posts as is?

My page seems to have gone a bit wacky. You will be able to “read the full post bleeding over into my sidebar. Additionally the background_bottom.png seems to be floating in the background halfway up.
I’ve really just replaced images so far, and haven’t screwed with your code.
Can you help, I love this theme and am looking into buying the magazine version once I’ve gotten this one up and running for a while.

Read full post seems to be fine now… the image that is floating up must be because you have some html tags in post contant which either need closing or removing….
the problem is with “The Hopeful Hearts Club” post, because if you go to the other post, the bg is fine….

Additionally, the issue Doug above has with the 125×125 option is also missing from my version, which I’ve also updated. I installed an reinstalled a few times throughout the day, and I’ve kept checking back to see if it would appear. Not going to use it but I figured I’d let you know if you’re de-bugging.

The theme which you update automatically doesn’t have 125×125 option as wordpress.org guys doesn”t allow themes with ad options.
So if you download the theme from here, you will have the ad options.
Do not update it in wp-admin

If we’re not supposed to update the theme within the wp-admin area, how do we update it? Do we just add certain folders/files via FTP, overwrite the whole thing, etc?
Hi. I love the them. I read through all the posts and tried everything, but I still cannot get the “Featured Posts” to work. I downloaded everything from this page. I put the file into its own folder and put it directly into the plugin file, but nada.

Just as an FYI tho, seems to be broken on FF2 – the featured posts area is aligned to the right? I took a peek with firebug at page->board & page->board->board_left but couldn’t suss it out
Does this matter enough for you to think about fixing? Only about 18% or so of FF users are still on v2…
For some reason, the date a post was published will not show up correctly for me.
This is what I get, no matter what I do: “12-08-2009″
This is what I want: “August 12, 2009″
I changed the date format in the Settings > General area, but it’s not making a difference. Is there a separate place inside the theme to change this? I’ve looked, but can’t find anything. Help is appreciated.

I have featured posts that wont leave my featured post area after un-featuring them! Help please.
I have the same issue. The post stays featured even though it is long deleted and gone. Any way to fix that?

Is there some reason it’s doing this? It’s ugly and I’d like the photo before the article, but if it’s going to show up in the featured posts, I might have to rethink it.

I’m trying to get a H1 tag around the blog title text in the header and it works a bit but my description is all messed up and now displaying at the right hand side..
Is there any easier way of changing the code to get an H1 tag around the blog title without the looks changing?

Hey!!! I love this theme, and I am now using it on my site– but there’s something wrong with my “Feature Me” plugin, not sure if you can help or not.
Every time your Feature scrolls, the number is highlighted– but in mine, it stays stuck at 1. =( Can you help?
I am wanting to change to color of links. I have been able to get them to change color and underline when you hover, but I can not seem to change to color of them in the posts unless you hover over them.
I seen where this was answered once, but I do not know the code to change it to.

So my question is: will it work on php4, or only php5? Because I tried to add the parsing line in the .httaccess file but that didn’t work and I don’t want to mess with that on my new blog.

Sometimes for whatever reason a post will show up 2 times or blank after edits, etc. Could you instruct me as to how to clear out the slider (cache?) and start over?

Download featureme plugin from this page(top) and also install nexgen gallery, i will setup the rest.
Can you tell me how to change the color of the board where the featured posts are. I have looked at other tweetsheep blogs where they have done it, and they look great.

Ed. Try this:
1- Go to your images folder (which usually sits in yourdomain.com > blog > wp-content > themes > tweetsheep >Images)
2- download bgr_board, bgr_board_carousel, and bgr_wrapper_top (OR if you still have it, go to the tweetsheep ZIP file you downloaded from this site, unzip it, and go into the images folder to get these pictures)
3- Use photoshop to change the color of the ligth blue portion
4- Save the altered color pictures with the same name (e.g. bgr_wrapper_top)
5- Upload the altered pics to you site, and put them back in the same Images folder where you started from
Okay so I get that you’ve answered the “featureme” questions a billion and a half times. I’ve installed it properly FROM THIS PAGE, and it’s on my plug-in page, and it is activated. I have no box on the Edit/Add Post page at all. I’ve done it 20 times, and it’s in the right place, it’s been installed properly, and it’s saying it’s activated. But there’s no freakin way to designate any of my posts as “featured”. I’M STARTING TO LOSE IT. Please just tell me why I can’t get this right. The fact that so many people are having issues might mean it’s not too user-friendly…just a thought.

hello and thanks for this great template!! I’m using it to create a small website (not a blog).
I am trying to change my About page template by uploading a custom template for that page (I’m calling it snappy.php, and I’m not touching the page.php file). However, when I upload the snappy.php file it does not get added to the folder. Is there some kind of setting specific to this theme that would prevent me from modifying or adding a custom page template so that the home page and the About page look different? Is it because this is the free version? All I want to do is remove the sidebar and the light blue board background picture…

This theme is awesome thank you so much. One thing I am getting really frustrated with is trying to find a good plugin to only have excerpts on the home page instead of showing the full posts. I am able to get the text to show up but I would like my images and paragraph lines and font styles to show up as well. Can you please give me some advice. Thank you.

@ Tricia — Did you look at the very bottom of your Post edting page. When I installed the Featureme plugin, the option comes up as the last widget on my post edting page in dark blue color. Just letting you know where mine is to exact point. Good Luck and thx for the share John!
We want to run the light blue side columns down throughout each post running all the way down. How can we do this?
Currently the light blue columns on each side run from the top, to a point down.

Can someone please answer clearly on how to make the image appear in featured posts? What does “‘post the full url to a 161×107 px image?” mean?
I can create the custom field, and I can post in the image URL. What does “to a 161×107 px image” mean?
Can you give an example of what should be in the value field other than the URL?
People are saying “Never mind. I got it!” but they aren’t saying how.
Ok… I got it. Post the URL of the image in the value field of the thumbnail custom field.
Now… if your picture isn’t 161×107, it’s going to get resized to those dimensions. It might look odd if your picture is from, let’s say, an iPhone.
Here’s the fix:
In the theme editor, choose Tweetsheep and then open the stylesheet.css page.
Find:
#board_body p img{
float:left;
border:1px solid #83b2c4;
margin:0 10px 0 0;
width:161px;
height:107px;
Change the 161px to 80px and save. You will have dimensions of an iPhone picture.

I recently discovered this theme and think it’s the best I’ve found. I really don’t want to have to change it, but about a day after I installed the theme a pale blue bar appeared at the top of every screen on my website, covering half of the title (see http://www.therabbitperspective.com). I have no idea how it got there! I’d really appreciate some help on this asap. Thanks,

must be due to one of your plugins, try disabling one by one…

I can’t get the logo portion correctly…I want to replace the top text logo with a picture logo and hyperlink that to the picture…how can I do that?
And after I had inserted a picture logo, my logo was cut off at the end…how do i fix that?
Also, how do i rearrange the position of the menu…coz after I installed the theme, the original positioning of my menu changed…for e.g. it was 1,2,3,4 at first..after I installed it jumbled up and became like 1,4,2,3

This is definitely my fav theme and I just upgraded it to the new version. Now I’m having a little trouble with my pages. All my pages do not display as the previous version does. Now it’s listing downwards instead of to the right.
Is it a bug or is it me and one of my silly mistakes? I’m staring at it for so long I’m cross eyed.

Having a little other problem with the 125×125 Ads, everytime I add the 3rd ad, it won’t drop down, it’ll just be an x on the 1st row and the forth drops down to the 3rd place.

I have a problem to place images in featured posts area. I uploaded images to picasa.com with size 161x107px , then copied the url from the address bar and pasted it in “value” under “thumbnail”. After I uploaded , it appeared only a square without image. What is wrong?

I only have a mac, and when I downloaded the suggested zip file, it just opened up the dreamweaver program on my mac… which i didn’t even know I owned and have no idea how to use.

The theme looks great except when it’s on a wide screen monitor. There is a big open space vertically in the middle and the top header is too narrow.
How can I make this work on all monitor sizes?

I am using WordPress for the first time and tried several templates and this one is the best, both for versatility and editing not to mention the great layout. I have one small problem in that my header shows the title ‘About Websites’ as ‘aboutwebsites’ all one word;
How am I able to create a space between the two words and in which file.

I installed the all-in-one-seo toolkit and, after doing so, noticed that my controls for adding a thumb resource (so that the blog post’s image would appear in the sliding div at the top of the page) is no longer visible. I can “feature” the post, but that’s all I can do.
Do you have a work-around or a fix for this?

I could use some help troubleshooting. I have featured posts working on one blog but it will not work on the other two. I have tried disabling plugins. Any other ideas?
I love your theme, but the carousel and my ad’s wont show up when using Firefox, only with explorer and google chrome. I have disabled all plugins. Could it be my upgrade to the latest wp version?
