As the popularity of Twitter has continued to grow, bloggers have realized that Twitter is a great tool for communicating with their readers, as well as attracting new visitors. The Stone Wood theme embraces this trend by displaying your latest Tweet at the top of the theme.
Below your latest Tweet and links to several other popular social media websites, the Stone Wood theme has a dynamic header which features the titles and beginning excerpts from your latest posts.
Underneath the header, the Stone Wood theme features a well-balanced two-column layout. The left column displays your posts, while the right column has room for multiple ad units, category and archive lists, as well as any other widget you want to add to complete the customization of your blog.
To show featured posts, create a separate category and put all posts you want to feature in that category. Select this separate category from the drop down in theme options page.
To show image in featured posts, create a custom field called “thumbnail” and post a link to 228×180 px image in its value.

Can you tell me where in your Hanging theme I can find the code to change the RSS feed link in the header/main menu?
I can see the line of code using Firebug, but I cannot figure out where to find that code inside wordpress so that I can change it.
Help?
I want to switch my RSS over to a feedburner option.

Could someone help me with my template setup?
I am not tech savvy at all and I’d really like to put ads in those 4 squares in my StoneWood 1.0 template. How do I go about doing that? Yes I’ve seen the fields for adding links, but still could use a some help on getting this ball rolling.

Simply go to dashboard, click on stonewood options at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Then set the number of ads you want to display and click save.
Then click on banner settings link in the left sidebar and fill the image url and url to link for each ad and save.

I transferred my site to a new server and as such changed to a different them you had created [from NewsOne to Stonewood]. I added a WP plugin that is supposed to be privacy policy oriented and it added pages. Basically it was such a pain that i deleted it. However, my twitter feed in the header is now returning an error: “Uncaught ReferenceError: twitterCallback2 is not defined”.
I’m not code savvy enough to know if they are related, but it seems likely to me. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I’m hesitant to delete the theme and reload as I’m pretty sure this is an easy fix that were I more knowledgeable would not be a huge matter.

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling, so the problem is fixed as far as I can tell. Still don’t understand what exactly screwed it up in the first place though.
If you have an idea I’d love to hear it so I can learn from this experience.

I can’t figure out how to get an image to show with the post in the header. The post is showing with some funny formatting and although there is an image in the post that image is not showing in the banner. Within the post screen I do not see an area to upload an image that will be the image in the banner. Please help!
you need to use custom fields
With WordPress 3.01 I do not see any drop down for choosing the category corresponding to featured posts in the Options pages for the TweetSheep theme. I’ve scanned the php and jscript files, and I can find the carosel code, but I don’t see an obvious way to specify the category name there either.
Some help would be appreciated. In the meantime, I’ll experiment with some other themes, as I can’t leave dead space at the top of all my pages…
In tweetsheep theme, you need to use featureme plugin and mark the posts you want to feature as featured by ticking the bluebox at the bottom of the edit post page.
Grrr. I thought I had it by setting FEATURED_POSTS to == 6 (the number that corresponded to my category called “Featured”), but nothing’s displaying in the carousel yet…
Is there a way to turn off the featured posts on the pages.php page?
So that featured posts only shows on the index.php or “home” page?
P.S. I love this theme.
Yes, it can be done. you can use the priority support(costs $35) to get it done.
Add the following php-code around the … in the header.php:

having issues with the page buttons and layout. I can’t seem to locate an easy way to make the page buttons appear (they are as dark as the header) and to go from left to right as opposed to a vertical look

I’m having the same trouble as Jonathan Saar and Marco. The top header, where the page names should appear, won’t go horizontal; it’s in a vertical pattern and the buttons are dark (you can’t see them). Are there any updates on how to perhaps fix this? Thanks for your help! I love the theme; just can’t get this part to work for me.

Hi I am looking to get help with getting an image in the featured slider. The post have images in them but I want something different in the slider can you help? I tried to create a category called featured and select it with other categories but nothing happens can you walk me through this please?
