How to show Videos in header?
Posts from a certain category are displayed there, select which category to display there in theme options page. Create a custom field called “video_140_92″ and paste the link to youtube video. (YouTube link should be the actual video file i.e. http://www.youtube.com/v/h4UgYoDnIEk&hl=en not http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4UgYoDnIEk

Activate FeatureMe Plugin ( click here to download it ) and mark the post as featured, create a custom field “image_654_254″ and paste a url to 654×254 image in its value
How to show images for recent posts
create a custom field “image_120_75″ and paste a url to 120×75 image in its value
How to show images for posts in category boxes
create a custom field “image_202_80″ and paste a url to 202×80 image in its value
How to show gallery in homepage?
Activate nexgen gallery plugin, create a gallery and upload images to it. Go to theme options page and select this gallery

The demo link is not working. And where is the 728×90 ad in the header exactly placed ? between the logo and the search bar ?

I am interested in changing the default logo text into a logo image. When I add a reference to the image file, the images link text becomes the logo and not the image I referenced. Is there a tutorial I can view to show me how to accomplish this change?

Open header.php, search for <?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?> and replace it with <img src=”path to your logo”>

I’m very interested in News Pro. The only thing I am not sure about in the format is font (times new roman like). Can this be changed to a sans serif font like calibri?

I start to get things right in the themes now but I have one question that I don’t can solve of my own. I want to you the “Popular posts” that you have in the demo, but I can’t get it work. I wonder which plugin you have used? I have tried the “Popular posts” plugin but it doesn’t work with the already written code. I got a output if I copy some code of my own but it’s doesn’t sort “All time” to “Month” and I did’t get the view stats that you have. I hope you can help me with this it wolud be awsome.

Hi. Love your NewsPro theme. I’m a budding web admin, so please bear with me if you’ve answered this but I’m not familiar enough with the terminology to realize it.
If you go to my webpage, at the very top you will see the unmasked url of my site [it's a subdomain hosted by my boyfriend's server]. I’ve looked at this for weeks and peeked at the Header.php file and suchlike, but honestly I’m too much of a newbie to know what needs to be fixed to either make it disappear or show what you as the maker originally intended.

Thanks for your response. However, I have a new question. I was going to use the 125×125 ad feature as a sort of recommended podiobook/podcast sort of thing.
I can’t seem to get it to show up on the web page. I have it activated and I have all the plugins you say the theme needs. When I reload the page, I can see 2 greyed out boxes show up on the sidebar. However, they blink right back out.
As far as I can tell, I’ve followed your directions for basic set up. Do I need one of the NEXGen widgets to be in the sidebar? As of now, none of them are in use, but they are all activated/updated.
Also, I know the pictures and the links are good. So any idea why they are showing up as greyed out broken link type boxes?
I created a specific gallery and tried using the nexgen widgets in the sidebar just to see if that was the trick, but I got nowhere. So I’m turning to the guru. Please help
Ok, figured out the blink out. That was my spam/ad filter acting up. But the pictures are still greyed out. So could definitely use your help on that.
And….I’m back. Apparently the gallery option not only deleted the pics from my photo file but it moved them to a brand new file it created.
Definitely a shock. But I found it and fixed. Thanks for putting up with me. lol.
I’m building this for a friend. I can’t seem to find where to past in the URL for the 728×90 ad. Also, you’ll see a current issue graphic on the side from an old template. Where is that controlled? And last but not least, in the demo, you have a “sign up for email” on the top right. How do I activate that?
you can post the ad code and activate the feedburner in newspro theme options, it will be a link on the bottom of the left sidebar in wp-admin. If you can’t find it, send me dashboard access through this websites contact form.
I didn’t understand the issue with “current issue”
I purchased newsPro yesterday and sent it over to our IT Dept to put on our blog server (which has WP support) Below is what the IT person sent back — is there a stylesheet I can get or an update to meet the MU 2.9.1.1?
“The theme you provided does not work. It is missing a stylesheet. If you can, please try and get a version of the theme that is compatible with WordPress MU 2.9.1.1″

You can set it up by going to theme options page in dashboard and filling in the details.

Trying to get the SM icons at the top to appear. I am betting it is something simple I am missing. Thanks for the help.
Go to dashboard, click on newspro options at the bottom of the sidebar and you can fill in the social media id’s and then save.
I did that, put in Twitter, and shows in sidebar, but no Twitter link at top. Put in test for youtube abd facebook links (that do show up in top) but uses my web address (www.benosh.com/)instead of using to facebook/youtube url.
use full urls, no just id’s
I used http://www.twitter.com/ and http://www.twitter.com/ as well as twitter.com/ and none worked. Also cancels out the twitter feed on the sidebar unless I just use /acccountname

Simply enter the category id’s you want to display on homepage and save. the error will go away….
Hi John my father recently purchased this Premium theme as a gift to me and I am really enjoying it.
I have 2 lingering problems. The date and time of each post wont post properly/update it is permanently stuck at Jan 26 2009 with the black border. The options are fine, the date works just fine with other themes. How can I get this to auto-update/post properly? (my posts look like they were ages ago)
How do I take a “smaller image” that is inserted into the post, and using Feature me get it to be the full box size without doing too much work. Currently I can get everything in the box properly but the image is far too small and looks silly. I just want it take the image and properly size it like it does throughout the rest of the site.
Also is there a simple way to make the youtube video player at the top display just a few videos but say instead of 8 tiny ones, like 3 or 4 larger ones. In other words make that box twice the size?

The second question is how can I make the thumbnails appear on the home?

1) I have an error in home page:

2) I can organize the side-bar on my homepage, it works only when I read a post.

When I insert a keyword all results with the date January 26, 2009 Admin and author, my site is a blog aggregator and I respect the publication date of my users and the author of the post as I do a good setting this function? I went to Editor and I saw these parameters can be inserted to help put out the exact parameters to make search results by publication date and the author? Thanks to all
Hello I have a problem with the search form, when I try a keyword it returns me the posts with the wrong date of publication: 26-Jan-2009 and as author ADMIN.
