Hey mate,
Enjoyed the article.
It's also worth looking into using the principles of advertising to improve the success of a web site, especially ecommerce web sites. A web site is an advertising & marketing tool after all. Ogilvy's 'Ogilvy on Advertising' is a great timeless read on advertising and many of the techniques in the book can be applied to the web.
Also worth staying up to date with the latest in web design research—such as eye tracking studies & what factors increase opt-in rates and so on. Effective advertising strategy can be built into the site very early from the early design stages. Marketing sherpa, Marketing professors and Usability.gov are just 3 resources you can use to stay up to date with the latest website design research.
Thanks again for a great article.

Great idea on the registration always try and get the variations, beause someone may want to steal your traffic all hold you up for the domain later, so its a good idea to get the change out of your couch a pay up now rather than later

I think it is improtant for company websites to consider VPS or dedicated web hosting services especially if they are going to market the website and expect significant traffic to the website. Dedicated servers are not only important and reliable but the cost has rediced significantly in recent years.
