You say that plugin can also be used to limit the amount of files downloaded by specific users. I tried all of these plugin and I didnt see this option. Could you tell me which plugin can do that? I want to limit a file downloads (2 time by each user).

I actually just found another download manager – Drain Hole wordpress plugin. I’m still weighing up the features of all those you mentioned and looking for other write ups on drain hole too.

I want, that the user can be upload his files to the page.
So.. How can I use/set the Downloads Manager that may be upload from the front-end.
the plan:
I want to an uploader and downloader function on the “downloads” page
Downloads (site/menu) -> upload function (and all uploaded files are listed on this page with a download function)
Unfortunately i can’t set the uploader … :S

I am looking for a download manager where we can download a file from other server like uploading.com or mediashare and use this url to download the file for users.I dont want to use my webspace for uploading files.
